Healthropy's websites and online services may use what are known as "cookies". Cookies allow you to personalise your experience on our sites, tell us which parts of our sites you visit and allow us to analyse user behaviour in order to improve our communications and products.

What are cookies?

How many types of cookies are there?

According to the Italian Data Protection Authority's (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali) guidelines for the protection of personal data - Linee guida cookie e altri strumenti di tracciamento del 10 giugno 2021 (hereinafter the Guidelines) - there are two basic macro-categories, with different characteristics: technical cookies and profiling cookies, both of which are managed independently or by "third parties".

technical cookies: used only to "carry out the transmission of a communication over an electronic communication network, or to the extent strictly necessary for the provider of an information society service explicitly requested by the contracting party or user to provide such service" (see art. 122, paragraph 1 of Legislative Decree 196/2003);

profiling cookies: used to trace specific actions or recurring behavioural patterns in the use of the functions offered (patterns) back to specific, identified or identifiable subjects, in order to group the various profiles within homogeneous clusters of different sizes, so that the data controller can, among other things, also modulate the provision of the service in an increasingly personalised manner beyond what is strictly necessary for the provision of the service, as well as send targeted advertising messages, i.e. in line with the preferences expressed by the user when surfing the web.

What cookies does this site use?

This site uses technical cookies, either direct or third-party, which are used only to ensure the proper functioning of this website, without which browsing would not be possible; analytics cookies are also used, in order to collect information on the number of users and how they navigate the site, but collected and managed in an anonymous and aggregate form and therefore comparable to cookies and other technical identifiers (see Guidelines).

The use of any form of profiling cookies is therefore excluded on this site.

Users' preliminary consent is not required for the installation of technical cookies.
